What other techniques may be used?

Moxibustion: This is a warming herb, artemesia vulgaris, which is held over a selected point. It helps a multitude of conditions including tiredness, feeling cold, asthma that is worse in the damp and cold, menstrual pain, nourishing new mums after birth, frozen shoulder, sciatica etc.

Cupping: These are glass cups placed over selected points. Sounds bizarre but it’s a wonderful treatment for acute pain: stiff necks, painful backs, sciatica and some other conditions.

Herbs: Herbs can help treatment to progress. I hold a Licentiate in patent herbal remedies, and use herbs to treat more stubborn conditions.
